1860: Agostino Buzio, born in San Salvatore Monferrato in 1796, decides to buy the Cascina Dietro Castello consisting of a farmhouse with 30 acres of vineyard and arable land. Begins the wine tradition of the Buzio family. In 1871 the property was divided between the three sons Felice, Domenico and Carlo. The part of Felice will pass after a few years to his or her son, who is considered to be the parent in all respects, for us all his grandfather. With far-sighted management and capabilities, the company specializes in viticulture and vinification by adopting state-of-the-art practices and obtaining high quality wines.
Since then, the company remains at the Buzio family who still today in the family tradition applies with the most modern techniques while maintaining the impression of original features and continuity with the flavors of the time.
